Good Morning Everyone, I was hoping that someone could help me with a order I have coming up. I have a cupcake order and I have to make the cupcakes look like taco's shell and the mom doesn't want me to use Fondant.. I am lost, any help I would be so very much appreciated..

Hi, you can melt white/yellow chocolate onto parchment paper... In a circle, fold in together to look like a folded taco shell, and let set. Fill the chocolate shell with chopped up cake or brownies... Top with fondant lettuce,tomatoes and white chocolate grated to look like cheese.... Hope this helps

For the lettuce you can use shredded coconut and tint it green and that will look like chopped lettuce. I love the idea of the chocolate shell! I'd try something else for tomatoes, though, like maybe the red from fruit slices or Starburst. If you don't know, you can soften Starburst (and Tootsie Rolls) by microwaving in 5-6 sec intervals til soft and pliable. You've got to watch it because it can become lava hot super quickly. And burn you. And it hurts - I know! Anyway Starburst can be combined color wise to make other colors and easy to flatten/roll out and shape. And of course kids love 'em. Good Luck.
