I have been asked to do a class or classes on caking/ fondant cakes/ cake pops etc... for a local crafts store in my area. They said I could do whatever I wanted regarding what to make and how to display etc... But were very excited with the fondant part of it. And as we know it's not something you can just do not prepare in an hour.
The Craft store will provide the space and would advertise for me on the classes, coiuld be a good opportunity for me to get my name out there more, I am not worried regarding teaching whatever and the crafts place has a license for food in their kitchen.
My question is ,if anyone had any ideas on teaching something that I could incorporate cake/cupcakes/cake pops and fondant (in some manor) that would be easy for most! I am a detailed person so I did not want to overwelm anyone on details and to keep it simple enough for everyone to enjoy. Does anyone have any ideas? I wanted to be able to let them take home there work and possibly some recipes to make the product, just unsure how to kick it off, can you help? Thanks for you help.
