Bridal Show Leads

Thread Starter
So I just recently started doing bridal shows within the last year. When I get the lead list I always send out a polite, to the point email to every bride, and leave it at that. If I don't hear back from a bride I assume she is not interested. I have talked to other wedding professionals in my area and some say I should email at least twice and call once. Others say I should keep contacting a bride until I hear a NO. I was a bride only two years ago and personally I hated vendors like that, and it made it that I would not book with them. So, being the person I am I dont like to pressure people. How does everyone else feel and what do you do?

I would wait a month, maybe even 2 and send another email, then be done with it. The brides are kind of overwhelmed at the shows with so many different vendors wanting their attention and their money. Give them a little breathing space, then send out another polite, non-pushy email in case they are just starting to plan their wedding, and then leave them alone.

If they're looking and don't contact you, they've already found someone. If they're not to the planning stage yet, you don't want to push them away before they even get started.

Those who continue to email and call the bride until she takes the time to tell them "no" are going to look desperate. IMO
