Hello I think this was maybe posted at sometime but what do you use to make gumpaste flowers but still be sort of unbreakable . I don't want them to break as much. Thanks for all of your help.

I use fondant. It can be strengthened a bit by adding some Tylose powder or Wilton's GumTex.

Your question is confusing. Gumpaste is ideal medium for flowers, it dries rock hard. You must be very careful while handling them.

Try Scott Woolley's gumpaste recipe. His has gelatin added to it, and one with agar-agar which makes it even more strong, yet flexible.

Was that supposed to say stable gumpaste flowers? It was really confusing!
