I have an order for this dinosaur cake but I don't want to promise the client something I won't be able to do... can someone guide me on how to do the head and neck? I thought RKT but how can they be that smooth? And how do I adhere the RKT to the round cake below?

Any other medium apart form RKT? Thanks so much! Appreciate it!!! icon_smile.gif

It looks to me like it's RKT - - there are several ways to get it smooth. Process your rice krispies before you make it so the crumb will be finer. Ice with bc and smooth before covering with fondant. Cover with ganache before fondant.

Add a skewer or two to the neck before it hardens so you'll have something to anchor the neck. Apply piping gel before you attach it so it will stick.

Good luck - that's an adorable cake. thumbs_up.gif
