How Do I Cover A Large Area Of Fondant In Luster Dust?

I have an order for a purse cake and she wants a lot of metallic accents. I keep thinking there has to be a spraypaint out there somewhere that is edible that would make my life so much easier. I usually use the Wilton luster dust gold or silver powder, dip brush in vodka, then in dust, and apply. I usually have to repeat this process numerous times, but this will just not cut it this time around. Any secrets I am missing?? TIA!
I don't really think there is a magical way to these. However you could try air spraying with air spray liquid lustre sheen this will definitely be easier.
I made more of a paint with the dust and the vodka. They you can swipe on quite a bit at a time.
I quite like the PME metallic lustre sprays for doing large areas. I find on the larger areas it helps me get a more even look.
