I don't typically delivery cakes so I am not sure how to charge. I will be traveling round-trip 47 miles. Do I charge per mile or a flat rate fee? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We charge $1/minute round trip (based on the Google Maps estimate), that way you are covered in case of heavy traffic.

I charge by the mile but there are some that charge a flat rate. I did research when figuring what I should charge and it seems the going rate is between 58 and 62 cents per mile. Make sure you are charging for round trip. HTH

A lot of people charge $1 per mile round trip. I think the IRS rate is $.52 per mile, but that doesn't cover your time. It's not like you're going to be doing anything else while you're driving.
