Hi, which is best on buttercream? Double face or Single face ribbon? Is there a difference? The color will be turquoise on white non crusting buttercream.. How do I keep it from bleeding? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest using double face sating ribbon on both buttercream and fondant. I've used black double faced ribbon on white before and it didn't bleed for me (although it was on fondant). Double faced helps to repel moisture I've read. Since you're using buttercream that doesn't crust, do you have time to test it with a dummy? HTH!
