I have made a cake that is due this Saturday. I made it last Friday and it has been in the fridge ever since. Will it still be okay to serve? It is wrapped in plastic wrap.

I would say no.....that's a long time to be in a fridge. Freezer, probably ok, but not the fridge.

Sorry, that's OLD cake. Again, freezer--yes, refrigerator--no.

There are articles on the web that talk about how refrigeration actually causes baked goods to go stale faster--and plastic wrap isn't fully air tight.

I might use leftover icing and give it to my DH & kids, but not to anyone else--not even a relative I don't like very much--they might tell someone else icon_eek.gif

No, would be too dry and stale. I would suggest baking a fresh cake.

Ditto above. If the cake had been in the freezer it would be fine. Refrigeration is a terrible way to treat a nice cake.
