Does anybody know of any good cake recipes with hazel nut extract in it. I prefer one that doesn't have any chocolate/nutella in it. Bought some extract to try out and now can't find any recipes with it in it. Most recipes just have toasted hazelnuts or hazel nut liquer.

My Nuts and Berries (yes, liqueur) starts with a vanilla cupcake, so you don't need the chocolate. It was inspired by the drink that has Chambord and Frangelico, but the mixer is half and half. This is one of my favorite flavor combinations. I forgot, my Nuts and Berries cheesecake is also vanilla based. You may want to try the hazelnut with a raspberry combination in filling or frosting. It is one of the smoothest and mellow combinations. Good luck, Susan
