Hello everyone,

So I am making an anniversary cake for a cultural club and I did it for them last year as well. The cake needs to feed 200 people and well I want to keep it simple as well as pretty but not looking like a wedding cake. I love having the freedom to decide but man when a client gives me absolutely no direction at all sometimes I just get stumped!

Here is what I did for them last year so I am trying to come up with something different:

The cake needs to have their logos and the colors need to be white and dark green.

I was thinking of maybe a staggered cake? Hope I can explain this right as I have no idea what they're called... when I have 2 big rounds for example not directly next to eachother but maybe a few inches apart... then another round on top of them kind of sitting on the edges of the two below... not sure what that type of cake is called? Even if I do that style no idea what to do with design?

Anyone got some ideas they can share with me... I'm all tapped out!

S.

Maybe you could do two leaf shaped carved cakes then stack the third carved into a ball shape in the middle of the two others (kinda like you were thinking), then put a sculpted eagle on top of that, kinda like the symbol? It may be a lot of work, but if you wanted something new, it's an idea!
