I had read several post about the cupcake liners pulling away from cupcakes but had never had that problem until this weekend. I use greaseproof liners but had to do grocery shopping for Easter and decided to go ahead and put them in the container. I noticed a slight warmth but not much. Got back and iced them and noticed a few were pulling away and then by Sunday morning the majority were doing it. Not an issue as this was just for my grandchildren but now I know what others have been talking about. Will definately make sure they are totally cooled before I cover them the next time.
Hi! I learned to take the cc's out of the pans right away while they are still hot. I think it has something to do with the moisture as they cool in the pan. I use grease proof liners from charming creations bakery. These I order online, super fast shipping and great prices. Haven't had any problems with them pulling away even when I use a high oil content batter like my carrot cake. HTH
