Colouring Chocolate

I know candy oil color by Wilton works for coloring white chocolate but I wanted to know what else can be used when you want to color chocolates. Can powdered colors be used if mixed with butter or oil or something. Cause I use golden glitter to cover the tops it looks great. I had tried Wilton colors but I need to put alot to get the desired color I want. Anybody any ideas as to what can be used as a substitute.

Yes, you can use powdered colors. Crystal colors from sugarpaste.com are FDA approved & Kosher, so they're great for things that will be consumed.

If the "glitter" you're using is disco dust, you need to find another means of getting a similar effect because disco dust IS NOT EDIBLE--it's fine grain plastic glitter--- and should be used only on things that will be removed before eating.
