Hi everyone!! Hoping I can enlist in your help!!

I am making some cupcakes (with pudding piped in) for Easter Sunday with my family. I am covering them with buttercream frosting and gum paste roses (stuck into the cake with toothpicks).

Can I put the frosting on the cupcakes on Saturday? If so, do they have to be refrigerated or can I leave them out? And what are thoughts about putting the roses on the cupcakes on Saturday? Or should I wait until Sunday? I don't want to have to try to transport more separate containers than necessary (I'm super paranoid about it getting ruined)... Especially because I am taking a cake with me as well and will have some last minute things to deal with because of that...

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

You didn't mention the type of filling and frosting. This will determine if the cupcakes can be left out. Let us know.

I made pudding that I will pipe in. And I'll be topping it with a buttercream frosting (made to look like grass) and gum paste roses.

Sorry, I meant the ingredients in the pudding and frosting to determine if they are shelf stable or perishable.
