Problems with Clay Extruder

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone had the same problem I have with fondant/gumpaste sticking to the inside of a clay extruder? It sticks so badly making it nearly impossible to push the fondant/gumpaste out. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to fix this problem, as I know the extruder would be an invaluable tool. Thanks! icon_smile.gif

Sounds like it's too dry. You need to rub some crisco all over the outside before you put it in the extruder so it won't stick.

I also spray mine & knead a decent amount of crisco into my fondant to be extruded.

I spray mine too. I also put my fondant in the microwave to soften it up so it will extract easier and smoother through all those little holes.
