Hi,
I just took a class on how to make a baby buggy and the structure was similar to this one. The bottom of the cradle was done in the same shape but with foam. You can use any medium you choose to mold this shape. the shape is sort like a half circle stood upright but thick of course. Just be sure that whatever you choose to use, you have to support the weight at the bottom. The top of the cradle was made out of 3 seperate pieces of floral wire, cut to size to bend and fit from side to side of the structure. Then top was covered/draped with fondant in one piece. You would have to make a small base to support the bottom of your cradle, then add the undercarrige and wheels.
In this pic, it looks like there is a round plate/board that the xradle is sitting on and the surrounded by the beautiful flowers.
