Four tier Topsy Turvy

I recently got an order for a 4-tier Topsy Turvy wedding cake, July 1 event. I have a question about delivery. I am afraid that 4 tiers will be to heavy to carry assembled so I was thinking that I should deliver 2 by 2. How difficult will it be to deliver and assemble a topsy turvy cake on site?

Also, the bride's little girl is allergic to eggs. She said she doesn't usually eat cake but she would like her to have the option if she so desires so she has asked me if I can make the top tier egg free for her daughter to eat from. Does any body have a good recipe for a chocolate cake that I can make egg free? I have found a recipe for a cake called "crazy cake" that sounds like it might be pretty good. Has anyone used this recipe?

I recently did a four tiered topsy tervy cake for a birthday party, I delivered it with each piece separate and stacked it on site. It was much simpler than risking damage from transport if I pre-stacked it . I cut the bottom layer about one half inch smaller than the top tier so when I stacked them they fit smoothy together. I always do the stacking and adding of the topper and other decor on site, that way I don't have to drive huge dowels through the cakes to keep them stacked.
