For 4" tall cakes and 1"x2"x4" wedding cake servings, take the size (diameter) of the pan and divide by 2, multiply the result by itself, then multiply by 1.57.
So for a 7" pan, you get 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.57 = 19.2 wedding size servings. For party size servings (1.5"x2"x4") multiply this number by 0.67, so you would get around 13 servings.
Anyone who wants it, PM me your *email address* and I will send you over my chart which has odd sizes, shapes, and heights for party and wedding servings.
