So after many failed attempts at trying to find a commercial kitchen space to rent I've decided to accept a job I was offered as the sole baker & cake decorator at a bakery/cafe in my area. Im very excited about this opportunity however very overwhelmed. I already have a wedding consultation on Tuesday and its up to me to come up with a price list and contracts for further use for our clients. I know basic things that have to be included in a contract and im going by other bakeries in the area to come up with price. Is there anything in a contract that I should b including other than the basics price, flavor choice, size, decorations, date, client info, deposit agreement etc. and as far as price list what do you charge for flowers? I was thinking of charging a certain price according to the size of the flower does that make sense? This place has a great reputation and good customer base I def don't want to scare people away by overcharging. Any help would be appreciated.
