I made this cake for my cousins wedding and was wondering how much it would cost if someone were to pay to have this made? Just so that I can get a rough idea? It is a 4 tier cake 12". 10", 8" and 6" filled with butter cream and covered in marzipan and fondant and gum paste roses. I made each cake twice for height...

would be grateful for any help.

How much did the ingredients cost, and how many hours did it take you to make (including prep, baking, decorating, and cleanup)?

jason_kraft is right. You need to total up your costs and your time. Then you might want to check out what other bakers in your area charge for similar cakes to determine what your market would bear. Every area is different.

I would of charged about 470-500 (10 per inch for the tiers) then 100-150 for the roses. I charge 10 dollars per inch for round, 11 for square and 13 for topsy turvy. Im the cheapest in my town lol.

I can't say how much because I'm in a "low pay" area. I would be doing good to get 3.00 per serving here! However, the flowers are stunning! Great job!
