Actually I want to know how to do the platform part...Should I make a regular thickness sole and let it dry and then cut a thicker piece and attach it to the dried sole? How it is made thick in the front of the shoe and then it tappers? I would appreciate if someone could help me with this. thanks thumbs_up.gif

I would just make the sole and then make the platform. It will involve carving to create the tapered shape. Making 3-D objects requires some sculpting skills so just try it out and see how it goes. I think this is likely more than one way to do it but that's how I would do it.

You may check http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2242299/pillow-shoe-cake. I put a photo of part of the process. Maybe it may help.
