what can i use as a substitute for soft wheat flour? i can't find it anywhere down here and im dying to try some recipes that call for all-purpose soft-wheat flour. Could i use just all purpose flour or should I mix it with some cake flour? please help!

Soft wheat flour basically means that the flour has a low gluten content, so straight cake flour should work. There is no such thing as "all-purpose soft wheat flour"...all-purpose flour is made from a mix of soft and hard wheat and has a moderate gluten content. It's possible that the recipe is calling for something between cake flour and AP flour, in which case you would want pastry flour.
