I have a client wanting me to make little charms for the top of her cupcakes. See www.nomadescollection.com for pics. I'm kinda at a loss on how to make these being that they're so detailed. Any ideas?

I would get molds and make them out of fondant or gumpaste and paint them with luster dust. Here are some I found.

You could actually make your own molds. I recently purchased "Easy Mold" at Michael's. It is silicone putty which is FDA compliant food grade. With this, you can may your own molds which is what I plan to do. I used a 50% off coupon so it ended up costing me approx $10 and I will be able to do a number of molds with it.

The make my own mold thing would probably be perfect if I actually had any of the charms. Looks like Etsy has quite a bit to choose from so I think I'm going to be spending the afternoon looking for a few that resemble some of these charms. Thanks guys!

If your client has one of the bracelets already, ask to borrow it to make the molds. That way it will actually be more specific to what she likes. HTH
