I have a question for these tricky little cake pops. I am meeting some ladies at the barn on friday and was thinking of taking some horse cake pops. I know I can get the shape of these but I am wondering what do do for the ears, mane, and reins. I was thinking of chocolate chips for the ears... but they aren't tall and pointy. For the mane, frosting??? They will be individually wrapped so I would think the frosting would smoosh the mane. Not sure on the reins either. I thought about black licorice but I think it might be too thick. Any suggestions?

Cakery2012-

THANK YOU! I always forget about using nuts. I am thinking I will just pipe the reins on too. Thanks again! icon_biggrin.gif

How did you make the shape of the horses heads? I am using a Baby Cake marker if that matters. Thanks!
