Hi guys!

I'm still relativley new at this. I just made my first shoebox and stiletto cake for a friend for her daughters birthday last saturday. the cake was a huge sucess i posted the photo on Facebook and now i am getting all sorts or requests and i dont know where to begin...ive never sold a cake ive made they were all for fun or for family occasions and i volunteered to make them.

Someone please help feeling a little overwhelmed.

Could anyone also recomend good recipes and cook books that might be of some help!

Thanks in advance for the tips guys!

Hello and welcome. Congratulations on your success and yes it can be overwhelming. I suggest you take a step back and breath and you'll see it will fall into place.

You've come to the right place for help, Before investing in a lot of books that can get expensive why don't you try some of the recipes on the site. I have found some good ones.

The business forum is loaded with information as well.

There are a number of questions I want to ask but I know it will leave you feeling more confused so I'll leave it at that.

My only advice to you is; take on what you are comfortable with at this point, don't try and do too much or you might suffer burnout. When you can't just say NO.
