I have seen cute fondant Hello Kitty cupcake toppers and I can't find a mini cutter. Does anybody have a suggestion for what mini cutter would work for cutting mini Hello Kitty heads? I'm looking for something easier than cutting circles and attaching ears for my daughter's birthday.

for these I printed out a picture of a hello kitty head, re-sized it to the perfect cupcake topper siuze, cut it out and traced it with an exacto knife on the fondant. Worked like a charm

I found a small Hello Kitty tin with candies at my local Michaels' craft store and after washing the lid, it makes the perfect template for a cupcake topper (see my photos) also, I've googled "hello kitty face" or something similar and if you print it on cardstock and laminate it, it'll make a perfect template for cutting - use it all the time! icon_smile.gif

I used the cutter to make my Niece's toppers and they were so easy. Try to order one if you can it will save you a lot of time vs trying to cut them out. Good luck.

i had someone want hello kitty toppers for her bridal shower. since fondant is gross i made mine out of mold chocolate. print out a picture you like and tape it to your table. put parchment paper over it then use a piping tip and bag to trace it with the chocolate.

Hi,

Your cupcakes are beautiful!  I am a beginner of baking cupcakes and cakes.  Can you tell me what size tip did you use to make the swirl underneath the Hello Kitty?

Where did you order the cutters from?

I just ordered these, I think they are going to be perfect for Hello Kitty toppers:  (scroll down for Hello Kitty)

The cupcake tip to use for swirls is called a 1M tip.

Hope that helps.
