I finally have enough money set aside for an Agbay. I don't bake professionally and I'm still a baby to this IMO but I believe if I'm gonna do it I may as well not half step lol. Anyway I was thinking of getting the Jr because I don't ever see myself doing large cakes. My question is should I get the single blade or double blade model? What are the benefits to having the double over the single?

The double lets you torte and level is one motion. With the single blade you just have to run the cake through twice, once to torte and once to level. If you have the double you'll love it more than you can imagine.

Do you normally torte your layers, meaning you take a 2 inch cake and slice it into 1 inch layers. So each cake is 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of frosting. If you do, then the double blade would be a wonderful thing to have. If you don't you may consider purchasing the larger Agbgay single blade. You can always upgrade to a double but you can not upgrade the junior to the regular Agbay.

No matter what you order you will not regret purchasing an Agbayicon_smile.gif

Thanks a bunch for the help icon_smile.gif I decided to go with the Jr. Double Blade. @ Sillywabbitz I'd love to torte all my cakes but I just can't seem to torte well with a bread knife or the dreaded Wilton leveler icon_cry.gif. I will be placing my order tonight icon_biggrin.gif
