Hi everybody! icon_smile.gif
I have recently been extremely honored by being asked to make a Dora the Explorer themes birthday cake for the most incredibly 3 year old I have EVER met. She was diagnosed with spinal bifida before she came into this world & she has defied ever odd that has been thrown at her! The doctors told her mom she would never walk but by God, she is & there's no stopping Bryelle! thumbs_up.gif
Here's my problem, I want to make Bryelle, my honest to God hero, an awesome birthday cake but I am having a complete & total block!!! Ugh!!!! Plus they only need it to feed 15-20 people & that's throwing me through a loop too! I just want it to be perfect for her.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
Thank you icon_smile.gif

This was a small cake, probably 8 inches.

I don't see a photo link so I don't know your skill level, but what about just a back pack cake? Or if you're up for more of a challenge you could make a 3D Dora - this one started from the 3D bear pan. If you need something easier, make a sheet cake with map on it.

Go ahead and do a Dora search. I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas. That's what I did when I did mine. Do a gallery search..

This is the cake I made for a little girl. Everything on the back pack is edible. I wanted to use a Dora doll so she could keep the toy to play with after the party. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2490139950067204560wbfCUQ
