I am planning my Easter cake. Does anyone have any ideas on what would be best suited other than carrot cake? I would like to try something new.
Any ideas welcomeicon_smile.gif

You can tye dye the inside of the cake.... which kind of relates to an easter egg..

Take a light colored recipe- like vanilla, and seperate into a few bowls, use food coloring to dye the batter in pastel colors. Then spoon the batter into the cake or cupcakes...you will get a very pretty multi-colored effect.

I've done it several times in rainbow colors.... this could be something new for you!

I always love doing a lemon cake with coconut frosting for Easter - yummy! You could also do a light raspberry cake with a white chocolate frosting.... mmmmm icon_smile.gif
