I'm pretty new to this...the orange I'm trying to duplicate isn't a bright orange, it's more muted. Any Tennessee fans out there know how I would get to the right shade - certainly red and yellow, but would I need to put some brown in there, too? Or something else??

Strangely enough, the University of Tennessee orange is just the same as the University of Texas orange - and they have the same initials! Being a Texas native, I've made this burnt orange color with orange and a tiny bit of Americolor light brown and gold.

With all due respect... Univ of Tennessee orange (bright) is NOT the same as Univ of Texas orange (burnt)! I live in Knoxville and Vols orange is ubiquitous here. icon_smile.gif Here - http://communications.utk.edu/branding/palette.php - is the official UT orange as well as its "supporting" colors. I'd love to see the finished cake![/url]
