I want to learn to make different flowers, so would it be better to look on youtube or buy DVDs? If you suggest DVDs then which one?

I have learnt so much by watching you tube! Save your money to buy cutters and dusting powders.... its addictive.

Good Luck.

I've done a few flowers some with and some without cutters using only tutorials or utube videos. I've also gotten some books from the library for both flowers and making clay figures (applied the same method to gumpaste/fondant). There are some great tutorials out there. The first flowers I did were from this site: http://www.make-fabulous-cakes.com/gum-paste-flowers.html. There is also some great stuff on: http://sugarteachers.blogspot.com/. Try doing them from tutorials and if you feel like you need a little more then you can always order dvds.

There are tons of great tutorials on here for free. There is a great one by Sweettooth101 in Gumpaste Flowers for inexpensive cutters for roses, peony and calla lily all using the same cutter. Check it out.

I'm a big youtube fan too.
