am doing babyshower cake this weekend and am using a 14in round cake and one side of the cake will be chocolate and the other side is white am putting a big 3D giraffe made out RKT am afraid that the giraffe will be to heavy a nd cave into the cake sence the cake will be cut in halfs one side chocolate and white what can I do

Maybe put the giraffe on a cake circle and then support it with dowels.

If the giraffe is not made yet, when you shape it you could put bamboo skewers in its legs and have them long enough to touch your bottom cake board. That way, when you put the giraffe on the cake it will be supported on the skewers and not by the cake.
