Brownie Pricing

Hello! I have a bride and groom that are interested in me doing brownies for their reception in addition to their wedding cake. I'm thinking that they would be a milk chocolate type brownie with a chocolate ganache type topping and then maybe turtle brownies and maybe a raspberry cheesecake type brownie. I'm in the metro Atlanta area and just wondering what you guys would possibly charge per brownie. Hope I've given you enough info to help me out. TIA!

No one can give you a price. We don't even know the size, but that is irrelevant.

You need to use the same pricing equation that you use for everything else.

I agree with Susan. Once you figure out your ingredient cost, you'll know what to charge. But I wouldn't give them a price per piece. Sell these as Brownie Platters.

Brownie platters are a great idea...thanks.

I'm sure that everyone gets sick and tired of these pricing posts...what do I charge, etc. etc. But was just hoping to get an idea, and I got one, so thanks.

I think some bakers are just so used to cake, but it's really all the same. Like Mimi said, sell by the batch. On my site, I sell individual desserts, but I have moved into a lot of dessert buffets. I just open my site and the prices are the same as if it was a gift. They just pick 5 or 6 different desserts.

The batch is the batch. I do offer to cut according to the client's wishes. In a buffet, smaller is better. By itself, cut a serving size. But once you establish the size, plan how many batches based on guest list.
