Hello CCers

Just wanted to know if anyone has invested in the Easy Roller cake ball roller yet and if so, would you please offer a review? It looks great, such a smart idea. Wish I had thought of it icon_biggrin.gif

I bought one in the first wave of sales. It's in the closet with the Cricut machine.

haven't heard great reviews about it.. most people have to experiment with the dough consistency so that the balls come out perfectly round or else they turn out oval or square....

try asking for reviews/feedback on the Easy roller facebook page... I think it is called heavenly cake pops or best cake pops. hth!

I asked about it here when I first saw the promotional video. Was given same answers as the replies above. Still, stubborn as I am, ended up buying it... to my great regret. I so wish I had invested that money in something else. The video makes it look so easy and fast. Not so icon_sad.gif

Hi folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster. My DH bought one of the cake ball rollers for me a couple of weeks ago, but it's just not for me. I am just one of those people that prefer to get my hands in things. I would like to sell mine, if any of you are interested. I've used it twice, and it is in absolutely perfect condition. He paid $265, I will sell for $200, free shipping. Please email me if you are interested.

I have one and have no problems using it. Consistency is the key!

Tiggy, that is why I haven't touched mine. I can't have a tool dictate my recipes. Plus I don't like the smashed cake balls and may never do them. I do like the real cake ones and that's where I think I want to be in the market.

Mine will be for sale in the near future after I get sick of looking at it. But for those who want to make that product that is so popular, maybe this is a good tool. I just don't know.

I make both kinds and have a market for each. My motto is whatever the customer wants I'll supply.

I bought one and didn't like the texture the cake had to be to use it. It was too pasty. So someone suggested scooping out the balls first, slightly round them and then place them on the roller and round them. Genius!
