Hello all! I have a question regarding how to store cake pops and cookies. I wanted to make some for a friend of mine that works for Cirque du Soleil, and she lives in Canada, so I wanted to know what's the best way to store these items. First question is for cookies. I recently bought a Rubbermaid container that's like super heavy-duty plastic that can probably hold around 30 cookies. What's the best way to pack cookies in the container? Now for cake pops; I bought a smaller container for them, but I still plan on wrapping them in cellophane bags. Is this a good idea? I'm planning to mail these items for a three-day shipping. Thanks!!!

For family, I ship by putting wax paper between the layers, having a crumbled up heavy layer of wax paper on the bottom, and then crumble to fill in the the top. Another way is to put cardboard in a Food Saver bag, still wax paper between the layers, and vacuum until just before they would break.
This may sound messy, but it isn't. The cookies are on a little bed, and each paper between the layers is the exact size.
Just make sure they are completely cooled and then pack and ship.
