Where can I find a cupcake stand similar to this OR does anyone know of any sites where I can get one custom made for an affordable price OR does anyone have any pointers on making one of these.

Wilton makes the towering tiers cake stand for 100 bucks that is similar to the pic you attached. Use a 40 or 50% of coupon and there ya go! The base is not the same as the one pictured but you might find it suitable for your needs.
