A friend of mine wants a cake kind of like the one in this link (scroll down a bit), http://www.creativepartyplace.com/?s=dr.+seuss, for her son's first birthday, but I cannot find any instructions... (Sorry, it would not let me add the attachment). Does anyone have any links or suggestions on how to do assemble these kinds of cakes? I appreciate any help!

You need a stand like this: http://www.caljavaonline.com/cakestudy1-bround-lg.htm

I've heard of people making their own out of pvc from the hardware store, but I don't know how complicated that is.

aaahhhhhh.... That is soooo much better than what I was imagining it would be...lol.. but she is still going to have to pick out another cake because I am not spending that much on a stand for a one-time use right now.. Maybe when I make it big and start getting more requests for that type of cake. And I don't think I trust myself trying to make something like that. icon_smile.gif Thank you for your quick response!
