Minnie Mouse Ears?

Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to make the Minnie Mouse Hat with Ears?

I'm not sure if there is a tutorial but I've made one before with one half of the wilton ball pan and two circles for the ears. It is in my pic's. I used sticks with the ears but next time I would attach them with chocolate too for better stability. As you can see they were leaning. HTH

Same here! I made Mickey ears with the ball pan covered in fondant with the ears glued on with royal icing (I think) and another buttercream version with the ears pushed in with sticks. Now that I think about it, I made have made slits in the fondant to slide the ears in a bit before glueing on.

hi, i made a cake with a mickey hat i did the ears out rkt covered in black fondent.( you can see it in my pic's) good luck and fun!

Since we are talking about the Mickey ears, can the head be made with just cake instead of RKT??

Ive made one..with a half ball pan (cake) as the head..and styrofoam ears.

Yes, you can carve cake to look like Mickey's head, but it's tough to get right. I made the head out of RKT and used modeling chocolate to get the effects on the face accurate, then covered with fondant. The ears I made out of modeling chocolate as well, shoved a stick in them and anchored with RI.
