Hi!

New to CakeCentral and in need of help! I am making cupcakes for an upcoming "champagne" birthday party and she's asked for the icing to be Champagne coloured. Does anyone have any tricks/suggestions to tint Buttercream for this look?? I use wilton gel colours if that helps...

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

TY!

You can use brown Vanilla.

Or just a dot from the end of a toothpick of Ivory for regular champagne and a toothpick dot of light pink for pink champagne.

I've made my champagne colored buttercream by adding just the slightest amount of cocoa powder. Champagne in my opinion has a slight tinge of pink and that is achieved by using the cocoa powder.
