little puffys jiggers on the sides of cake, looks like they made bows pleated and put all around...any pics Im sorry I dont know what its called but I saw a couple in the last few weeks...help please

It says to use gumpaste, but I wonder if fondant would be good, not so brittle and can you attach with melted chocolate?

I've used both gumpaste and fondant and I just attatch it with gum glue and it stays. The gumpaste will make it less likely to tear though.
