I want to make sure i am looking at this right..i have a request to make a cake this size. Do you think this is a 2 layer 10",a one layer 8", and a 2 layer 6"

Yes, I believe you are correct. The photo angle is a bit deceiving... at first glance, the bottom tier appears to be taller than 4" but comparing the 1" portion of fondant stripe on the surface to the rest of the stripe down the sides and it looks like the tier is actually two layers.
