I purchased my machine about a year ago and have maybe used it a dozen times. I took it out of the box to use it today and the trigger on it is broken. Has anyone else had this problem? I wonder if it can be fixed or if I'm left to purchase another one? Any suggestions on another one to get if I have to replace? I don't think I'll go with Duff again, not if it breaks that easily. I was always very careful with it.

You can buy just the gun and not have to replace the compressor. Is it possible a pin came loose? Is the trigger loose, tight?
Have you taken it apart to check why/how the trigger is broken?

sillywabbitz may be on to something... this situation happened to me a few months ago, and it turned out the pin was loose... you can fix it and realign it by unscrewing the 'pen' and threading the pin back through the tension piece. best of luck.

Same thing happened to mine! I've used it only a handful of times and the trigger stopped working. I wish I could find my receipt so I could return it but since I can't I'll try the suggestions posted.

I had a different problem with mine- the motor went on the machine after the 3rd use/ had to send it back and get another one (still waiting to get it back) ... hopefully soon.
