Good morning cc! I wanto to make an Irish cream filling, I found this recipe but it needs refrigeration, and my cake can't be refrigerated... what could I instead of whipping cream?

IRISH CREME FILLING
3 1/2 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
2 tbsp. Irish Creme liqueur
Beat together package of vanilla pudding with the whipping cream until it reaches desired consistency then add the Irish Creme liqueur.
May use in the center of the sauerkraut cake and on top. Very good. (Two 8 or 9-inch layer cakes.)

Thank you!! icon_biggrin.gif

You can purchase liquid whipped topping such as Rich's Bettervcreme or Pastry pride. There are other shelf stable brands. You can get these usually from your local cake supply, Gordon food supply or smart and final if you have one. At your cake supply store call ahead and ask if they carry it. Not all of them do.
