I was asked to do cupcakes with a "french provincial" design. I'm not to sure what they are suppose to look like. Can anyone send me links or ideas of what they look like? Thanks

These fabrics should give you some direction to go in. The yellows and blues especially.

That is a tough one. I would ask the customer what she means by French Provincial Design. She must have some type of idea in her mind. Ask her for some examples to draw inspiration from.
Good Luck

There is no specific "design" for Provencal. It's all about color. There are several patterns which are typically seen, but I don't know how you could replicate that on a cupcake.
The dishes in my house are Provencal. They are a combination of pinky reds, blue, yellow, and a bit of green, with fleur de lis and sunflowers printed on the dishes. I also have a lot of rooster-ish things which go with the set. I'm not really a rooster person, but it matches well and it's very Provencal.
Purple and yellow are a good combination. Flora and fauna which comprise many Provencal patterns typically include sunflowers, lavender (a biggie!) and poppies. Lemons and olives are also common, as well as poultry such as roosters and chickens.
Hope this helps.

In Google Images type French Provencal Fabrics. Lots of ideas there. Like AnnieCahill suggests.
Not sure how you incorporate that into a cupcake. I would still ask what they had in mind. Because when they asked for that design they had something in mind. Some idea of what they were hoping for.

I went the wrong way with it I guess. I thought of the pink and white scenes with people in them. Apparently that's french toile. See the first link for examples. The second link is a cake with this design on the middle tier. I think this would be really hard to do for cupcakes unless you could make a stencil or an edible image. I would definitely ask the customer to email pictures of what she wants for clarification. Good luck!
