Can anyone help me with this cake please? i dont usually work with chocolate, but am thinking chocolate covering paste, spray with clear spray, then im guessing melting down chocolate to stick the maltesers on, anyone have any tips? thankyou

It looks like it could be chocolate fondant that they steamed after covering each tier and stacking, or ganache poured over each tier and left to firm up before stacking. From what I understand, if you steam fondant it will make it sticky enough to attach something directly to it without using anything else. The melted chocolate would work to attach things too though.

Looks like poured ganache to me.

While steaming your fondant will make it shiny, I don't think it will get sticky enough for this. You'd be better off using melted chocolate or piping gel to attach to it.
