Very pretty! I am curious as to how your cake has rounded sides. It has almost an hour glass shape. Is it carved that way?
Beautiful cakes. You did a wonderful job. I love the red and green colors. It is very festive.
The flowers are gumpaste, made with two sizes of those handy little punch-out tools.
For my fondant cakes, I always trim off the harsh corners on a tiny angle...to avoid any tearing in the fondant and because I think it makes a pretty cool rounded shape to the tiers too!
