Wish i had a picture to reference, but does anyone know of a tutorial on how to stack a square topsy cake with spaces (for flowers, etc.)? thanks in advance
Do you mean the assemble style where each cake in complete and sitting on a (hidden) styrofoam wedge? Or the traditional cut-hole type of stacking you'd do for a round TT, but just on a square one?
I can help you out with the latter, as I haven't done the former (though there are certainly instructions out there for it). You literally just do it like you;d do the round ones. If the difference between cakes is 2-3" I like to make the square holes line up with the cake below(as in not twisted) so it doesn't get too close to the edges. If you have a larger gap, you can twist the cakes too. of course, you can always turn the cakes so the tilting is different on each tier.
