How can I make a 3d strawberry? it will be sitting on top of another cake so it does not need the bottom tip on it. Any and all ideas are welcome. I am thinking maybe making it in my Pampered Chef measuring cup and filling it full enough to get a nice crown, then carving from there? Just not sure if it will work or not.

How big? Could you just mold it out of Rice Krispy Treats? RKTs are the easiest way for me to make 3D shapes for cakes. If you want it out of cake, I would cake it in a small heat shaped pan and leave the dome. You may have to carve the back a bit but it would get you started shape wise.
