How Can I Make A Chocolate Cake Taste More

Hello everyone,
I've tried the Delicious Moist Chocolate Cake (eggless) by Debbye27 and was wondering what I can do to bring out the chocolate taste even more. I've used the fry's cocoa powder and know its not the best but would it make a big difference in taste using a better one ?
I'm not familiar with the recipe but if there isn't coffee already in the recipe, using strong coffee in place of the water makes a big difference. I hate coffee and I use instant in my baking, but I make it really strong, so strong the cake batter taste too coffee-ish for me but once it's baked, it tastes great.
I put a little cold strong coffee in my chocolate cake, or even 1-2 tsp instant coffee granules into the batter. Seems to bring out the chocolate flavor.
Take Care
Hi. What I do with my chocolate cakes is I add the small box of chocolate instant pudding into the batter, dried. Then I add 1 tbs vanilla, 1 tbs of coco powder like hersheys, and 1 cup of chocolate milk. comes out very moist and chocolaty
I also add a box of chocolate fudge pudding, extremely chocolaty chocolate milk and a surprise treat of mini chocolate chips. Yummy!
Yes using a good quality cocoa makes all the difference. Even increasing the amount used.
hi,adding a tsp of bi-carbonate soda to the batter makes the cake moist, dark and very tasty and do not add a alot of water based ingredients as cake will not rise as it bakes.
