I'm going to try to write out the ideas in my head...hopefully it all makes some sense! Basically i'm going to be doing a Under the Sea themed Cake...design is allup to me, except they want a whale going thru the cake (this is a kids 1st bday cake..so cute design) I was thinking of making the whale out of rice crispy treats, and something I'd like to do , is have water coming out of it spout, (maybe out of royal icing??) and writing Happy Birthday in that water spout.... but not sure if its possible. Sizes of cake could be anything really... thinking round...6 inch on a 10 inch maybe..and having the whale coming out of the bottom tier and the spout going above that 10 and laying up again the 6...dunno if anyone has any thoughts on this but if so, let me know! Any ideas would be great!

How about poured sugar. You could use the isomalt sticks, that you just have to melt down. They come in most colors.
